Lighting shadows
The scene and lighting settings determine how shadows fall across the garment — shadows shift with the chosen season or campaign theme.
Fabric weight and physics

No. Shadows and fabric folds are rendered as part of on-model generation — they appear in the finished on-model photo automatically. This is not a tool for adding shadows to existing photographs.
What determines how shadows look in a generated photo?
The pose (full body, 3/4 portrait, lifestyle), the scene and lighting preset (season, campaign, or custom), and the fabric weight all affect shadow placement and intensity. Shadows are not user-controllable directly — they emerge from the generation itself.
Do generated photos always have realistic shadows, or is it optional?
Always included. Every on-model photo Alovia generates includes organic shadows, creases, and fabric drape by default — there is no "add" or "remove shadows" toggle.
Do shadows look the same across all models, or does the model's body shape affect them?
Body shape affects shadow placement — shadows fall differently depending on the body type, posture, and measurements of the chosen model. The same garment on different models renders different shadows.

Not directly — shadows come from the generation itself. To change shadows, regenerate with a different pose (full body vs. 3/4 portrait), a different scene/lighting preset, or a different model; shadows will shift accordingly.

Do shadows get sharper or softer at different resolutions?
Resolution (1K, 2K, 4K) affects image sharpness overall, including shadow detail, but does not change where shadows fall or their fundamental appearance — those come from the generation, not the resolution setting.
